Natural Makeup Look

IMG_3821

Hi guys!

I hope you’ve all had a good couple of days! I had a Disney day yesterday with Jessie, which basically involved us sitting in our jammies all day watching our favourite Disney films, including my absolute favourite ‘Tangled’! (Flynn and Rapunzel are goals).

Today’s post is a natural makeup look, which I know could be considered somewhat of an oxymoron but oh well! I rarely wear a natural makeup look because I adore winged eyeliner, bold eye shadow looks and bright lipstick but it is still a look I love especially for the spring and summer. So here is the look:

1.First wash and prime your face, I’m currently trying out the Nivea post shave balm which I will be doing a review on soon! After priming, I use the Seventeen Miracle Matte Concealer Stick under my eyes, I apply it in a triangle shape using my Real Techniques foundation brush, and then blend out. I find this is such a good concealer for covering up dark circles and is one of the few I’ve found that actually work for me.

2.Next I apply my foundation using the Real Techniques buffing brush, I currently use the Clinique Superbalanced foundation (a full review for which you can read here) it’s my favourite foundation at the minute and gives me such good coverage!

3. I now use my Seventeen Stay Time Concealer as a highlighter, I apply it in the center of my forehead, under my eyes, on my chin and cupids bow. I then simply blend it with a beauty blender.

4.So next up is contour, I’m currently using the Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour Palette, I start by applying it under my cheek bones, along my hairline, temples and under my chin. Then I blend it out to create a softer more natural look.

5.For this look I do some quite simple highlighting using the same Makeup Revolution palette, applying it to my forehead, jaw, chin, cupids bow, under my eyes and along my cheekbones, I then blend this using a beauty blender. I then set my face with Collection Sheer Loose Powder.

6. Next up is the eyes! This is a super easy step, all I do is tightline my eyes and apply mascara, I used the Avon Glimmerstick liner and Mally Volumizing mascara to do this step. I then do my eyebrows by simply applying the Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara.

7.Now all I do is a apply a light layer of blush, the BareMinerals Ready Blusher ‘The One’, and lipstick, I’m using the Clinique Pop Lip Colour in Nude Pop, and the look is done!
