Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour Palette Review

Hi loves!

I hope you’re all having a lovely Sunday, I’ve had a good old lazy day which was so nice, there is something really satisfying about PJ days!

So today’s post is a review of my newest makeup purchase, the Makeup Revolution Ultra Cream Contour Palette! I didn’t start contouring until relatively recently and have stuck to powders, but I really wanted to give contouring a go with some creams and purchased this palette after reading some really good reviews, so here is mine!

The product is extremely blendable, much better than any powders I have tried. This makes it so much easier to get rid of harsh lines and give a distinct but natural looking contour. The colours are also very buildable so you can get a very defined look without too much effort.

Another thing I love about this product is that the product is that is is very easy to apply. The creamy texture means that is practically glides on when you apply it which is brilliant! I absolutely can’t fault the quality of this product.

The colours in the palette are also really good and are very pigmented, being so pale it can be difficult to find a contour shade that isn’t too dark but because the shades are buildable I find that this palette isn’t too dark and gives me a subtle but noticeable look.

The shimmery highlighter shade in this palette is just perfect! It looks gorgeous on, it isn’t too bright but adds a lovely glow to your makeup. The first day I wore it I couldn’t stop looking at how lovely it was, this is probably my favourite part of the palette.

The only problem I’ve had is that because I am so pale the highlighter shades aren’t the best for highlighting since the lightest colour is almost the same as my foundation shade. They do work very well as concealers though and the lightest works well for me as a very subtle highlight. This shouldn’t be a problem for anyone with a slightly darker skin tone.

Overall I would 100% recommend this product. It is the perfect palette for beginners as well as more experienced contourers, the colours are brillaint, buildable and are easily blendable. For £8 this product went above and beyond what I expected from it, definitely one I will be repurchasing!

Comments and feedback welcome!
