I hope you’ve all had a great day today and for those of you at work or school, it’s not long now until the weekend, yay! I can’t believe how fast this week has gone and I’m just so glad that I have another week off before I have to go back to school and face reality again.
I’ve been doing really well with uploading posts this week because I have more free time than normal, so today’s post is the Beauty Blogger Tag. I was tagged for this by the beautiful Anita at La Bella Derma, her blog is great I love her beauty tips and I always look forward to reading her posts. I was also tagged by the gorgeous Elisha Jayne whose blog is another one I love, her posts are always so great and interesting! So definitely check their blogs out, I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do!

What is your skincare product essential?
Coconut oil, I love it, it’s just so good for everything, especially dry skin.
On average, how much so you spend on makeup/skincare products per month?
This is a tough one because I can go months spending very little because my products haven’t run out, but I would say around £20 on average, probably more.
How long do you take to apply your makeup?
I can do a basic face in 15 minutes but I like to potter about and take my time so about 30-45 minutes.
How often do you cleanse your makeup brushes?
Not nearly often enough!
What’s your ultimate favourite brow product?
The Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara, I love this brow product, it means my brows always look good with almost no effort!
Favourite drugstore brand?
I love Collection, the prices are so reasonable and the products are always of a good quality
What inspired you to blog?
Other bloggers mostly, I saw what others were doing and wanted to give it a go myself, and the encouragement I got from my friends and family when I suggested wanting to, I probably would have talked myself out of it if they hadn’t encouraged me to do it.
What’s your best makeup tip?
Use tape! It’s great for so much, eyeliner, eye shadow, and apparently contour but I have yet to try that, it’s just so useful.
Your top 3 makeup products?
Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Liner
Clinique Superbalanced Foundation
Has blogging influenced your job or career?
I obviously don’t have a career yet but it has definitely influenced what I think about doing with regards to a career. It has made me think more about studying makeup artistry, but I have yet to get any further than that and for now will be continuing with my current plan but who knows what will happen in the future!
What inspired you to start blogging?
As I’ve already said, it was the encouragement from my family and friends and reading other blogs that inspired me to start blogging.
What item currently in your makeup bag couldn’t you live without?
My Clinique Superbalanced Foundation, I love it, it’s so nice and gives me really good coverage.
Is there a particular decade that you love the style of?
The 50’s! I love vintage clothes and the 50’s style was just so glam and perfect, it’s my favourite decade of style!
Matte lipstick or satin?
Matte, I know it can dry out your lips but it just looks so flawless!
Do you have any skincare / makeup ritual that you swear by?
Exfoliating, my skin is so much better since I’ve started exfoliating, and it’s also super soft!
Any ‘bad’ beauty habits you’re guilty of?
Popping spots, I’m terrible but I can’t just leave a spot when I see it, it’s too hard!
Who do you look up to in terms of style?
I would have to say Taylor Swift, her style is just always so flawless and her clothes are gorgeous.
What was your favourite look you’ve done?
Are there any brands you’ve wanted to try, but haven’t taken the plunge yet?
Urban Decay, I know they’re such a great brand, and as a beauty blogger having never tried their stuff is probably the sin, haha, I just haven’t been able to convince myself to spend that much on one of their products yet!
Lastly, whats your going out make up look? Classy, or full blown glam?
For a night out it’s definitely classy, I usually do a dark smokey and and wear red lippy, nothing to glitzy or fancy, but it’s a classic!
