I hope you’re all having a good week so far, I’m so happy it’s only two more days until the weekend!
Today I’m sharing a review on Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Eye Liner. This is my go to liquid liner and I have been using it for well over a year so I thought I would do a review on it!
My favourite part of this liner would have to be the shape of the ‘brush’, I find the fact it has a slight point to it really good for doing winged eyeliner because it really helps you to get a nice flick that gets thinner towards the end. It is also soft enough that it doesn’t feel harsh on your eyelids when you’re applying the liner, which I find great as previous eyeliners I’ve tried have been too rough on my eyelids when applying them.
Another advantage to this liner is that the colour is very pigmented and quick drying, while it is not always completely opaque, especially if you have mid to dark eye shadow tones underneath, but it is easy to build up the colour to make it opaque, so I wouldn’t say this is a problem.
The liner is also long lasting, which is brilliant! I will put this on in the morning and it stays on all day, it doesn’t flake, and will only smudge if you rub your eye, so you don’t need to worry about looking like a panda if you touch your eye, haha. I would definitely recommend this liner if you’re looking for something to stay all day.
This liner is definitely long lasting but you don’t need to worry about a battle to get it off, with makeup remover or even just face wash, it comes of quite easily though which is definitely good. This also makes it much easier to fix your liner if it doesn’t go according to plan, as mine so often doesn’t, haha.
One of the only complaints I have about this eyeliner is that it’s not ideal to apply to the lower lids, too much formula always ends up going on, and it just turns into a right mess, so I wouldn’t recommend using it on your lower lids.
Overall I would highly recommend this product, it’s definitely my favourite and go to liner, so I would definitely suggest giving this liquid liner a go, especially since it’s not particularly expensive, and in my opinion is good quality!
Any comments and feedback are welcome!
