I hope you’ve all had a good week, I’m so grateful it’s finally the weekend after a busy week and am enjoying having some time to relax. This week I have a tutorial for Everyday Waves to put up, which is a nice easy one to do so I’m looking forward to sharing that with you! I am also going to start using my new instagram account more this coming week, I’ve uploaded some photos already but I will be using it to notify you of new posts as well as giving you more of a glimpse into my life, so please follow me if you’re interested in seeing more about who I am! the_pineapple_tart
So today I’m doing a tutorial for rose gold eye shadow! Lately I’ve developed such a love for rose gold coloured eye makeup, I think it looks so lovely and works really well for everyday makeup. I am using a mixture of colours from two eye shadow palettes, the first is a Ted Baker eye shadow palette that I got as a gift, it is part of a makeup set, but I would definitely recommend buying the set because it’s lovely quality makeup, the second palette I’m using is Collection #YourStyleYourMood Eye Shadow Palette, which is another eye shadow palette I would recommend.
1)First apply the highlighter colour (1) to your brow bone using the Small Shader brush
2)Then apply the medium shade (2) to your eyelid using the Classic Shader brush and apply the gold (3) to the crease of your eye using the detailer pencil brush and blend out using the Blender brush
3)Following this use the Angled Shader to apply the most prominent pink (4) to the outer corner of the eye in a crescent shape and lightly blend
4)To create more definition, add a purple shadow (5) to the outercorner using the Precise Shader brush and blend that into the other shadows to get rid of any harsh and dramatic contrasts
5)To finish this look off, apply the most prominent pink (4) under the eye using the Angled Detailer brush so that a subtle amount is applied and finish it off with winged eyeliner and mascara, and you’re good to go!
So that’s my Rose Gold eye shadow look! It’s definitely one of my favourites and is so easy to do, hopefully you feel the same about it, any comments and feedback are welcome!
